WebOP asked for the best monitor, honestly the best would be something in a 30" 1440p, with a system that could sufficiently max out games at 60fps +. 24" at 1080p or 1200p is just the standard because its the biggest monitor one can get that's fairly cheap. That doesn't make it a bad monitor by any stretch, but its not necessarily the best.

It's dropped in price recently and has high ratings everywhere you look. And it actually looks nice on a desk and not gamer-y.
