WebMr. K has a medical history of chronic hypertension, hyperlipidaemia, type 2 diabetes mellitus and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). He is a chronic smoker and occasionally consumes alcohol socially. He has no relevant surgical history. Mr. K has been admitted twice in the past year for acute exacerbations of COPD.
